A brief note about
Social Security |
The Ministry of Social
Affairs performs every
effort possible aiming
at achieving the
provision of its
services in the field of
social security to all
beneficiaries though the
social security offices
in various regions and
provinces allover the
kingdom. There are
eighty four offices for
social security equipped
with the latest means of
communication, technical
equipments and
computers. These offices
are linked together with
each other and with the
Deputy Ministry for
Social Security by a
principal network.
Registration of awaiting
beneficiaries,
administrative work,
printing decisions, date
insertion for all
existing cases of
pensions or subsidies,
issuance of new
decisions for
beneficiaries and ATM
cards are some of the
services offered by the
social security offices.
Also following cases and
administrative work have
become more easier and
accurate and less in
cost and time. In order
to perform the best
service for
beneficiaries, the
Deputy Ministry has
extended the usage of
the latest equipments in
the field of accounting,
management and data
processing.
Though its computer
project, all the work in
the Deputy Ministry has
become automatically
linked with its offices
in various regions and
provinces of the
kingdom. The usage of
the latest technology in
communication is a shift
in quality of work
performance and an
electronic achievement,
in order to facilitate
any obstacles faced by
the beneficiaries, and
it is also a vast jump
in providing the service
in a very accurate and
fast way for the
beneficiaries of social
security.
First: the pensions:
• Men
• Widows
• Divorced women
• Orphans
Second: The Subsidies:
1. temporary handicapped
2. Prisoners¨ families
3. Families whose
supporters are absent or
deserted them.
Third: The current
programs of social
security:
The Deputy Ministry for
Social Security and
Public Housing is
performing currently
three programs to
beneficiaries in order
to face the burdens of
life and also to
alleviate poverty
stress. These programs
are as follow:
1. A program for
furnishing houses for
poor people.
2. A project to
rehabilitate some of the
beneficiaries of social
security.
3. A program for
providing public
housing.
Fourth: The future
programs of social
security:
1. A program for
repairing houses.
2. A program for school
bag and uniform.
3. A program for
providing patients of
incurable diseases with
medication.
4. A program for
participating in paying
the bills of necessary
services.

discount buying cards.
